Upcoming Meeting: Oct 31st

18 Oct

Hello WatFIG folks!

Our next meeting will be held Wednesday, October 31st from noon to 1:20. The meeting will be held in UW´s Hagey Hall, in HH150. Our presenters will be Steffanie Scott, Theresa Schumilas, and Zhenzhong Si, and the title of their presentation is “The Evolution and Structure of China´s Organic and Ecological Agriculture Sector and Alternative Food Networks“. I will circulate their paper prior to the meeting via email. We booked a slightly larger room than last time, so we can accommodate any undergrads who might also be interested in the topic.

As always, feel free to bring your lunch! See you then!

Hello world!

16 Oct

Welcome to our new WatFIG website!

We thought this would be more dynamic than the previous version, where we couldn’t share information easily about events and links. Now, if you have event information or interesting news or links that you’d like to share with the group, it’s fairly easy.

You can be added as an author and post it yourself, or you can submit info to me (Jennifer Jones) who can post it on your behalf. Just email me at j4jones@uwaterloo.ca and I’ll make sure it gets posted here.

Thanks and let me know if there is anything else you’d like to see here!
